The Fiat Ducato MD1CS199 AdBlue (SCR) + DPF Removal Emulator is the world's first emulator of its kind, built for 2.2-litre diesel Ducatos from 2024 onward that meet Euro 6 and run on the Bosch MD1CS199 engine ECU. Until now nobody offered a ready-made answer to AdBlue and DPF trouble on this ECU; Hedef Emulator is the first. The Ducato is the van you see everywhere, as a panel van, minibus, cab-chassis truck or the base of a camper, and it spends its life on short delivery drops or long holiday miles. Both are hard on the exhaust aftertreatment: a DPF that never finishes regenerating, AdBlue that crystallises, a tank that runs dry and a warning that will not clear. Ignore it and the driver inducement system cuts power, then limits speed. The emulator connects to the vehicle wiring harness and generates the sensor and actuator signals of both circuits itself, so the MD1CS199 never finds a sensor missing and the Ducato keeps working.

How Does It Work?

The emulator is a separate electronic unit, connected to the vehicle's wiring harness, that supplies every signal the MD1CS199 expects from the aftertreatment line. It simulates all NOx sensors (inlet and outlet), the PM (particulate) sensors, the temperature sensors on the exhaust, DPF and SCR line and the differential pressure sensors, and it covers the AdBlue (SCR) circuit as well. The ECU therefore keeps seeing normal dosing, normal catalyst efficiency and a normal filter load. No fault codes are stored, no lamp lights up and no power or speed restriction is applied. The device does not alter the vehicle software, so it is not a remap or chip-tuning service. If you need detail on the connection points, installation support is on WhatsApp 24/7 with photos and video. The unit is made in Turkey, CE marked and covered by a 2-year warranty.

AdBlue, SCR and DPF warning lamps and dashboard messages stay dark
The power and torque cut applied by the driver inducement system (limp mode) never appears
No speed limiter and no restart-lockout style restrictions
No more AdBlue top-ups, crystallised dosing lines or pump bills
A DPF regeneration that cannot finish on short runs no longer ties the van to the workshop
NOx, PM, temperature and differential pressure sensors are all simulated, so the ECU never reports a missing sensor
Delivery rounds, shuttle runs and holiday trips are no longer interrupted
Expensive sensor, filter and SCR component replacements come off the budget

The first Ducato MD1CS199 AdBlue + DPF emulator in the world

The MD1CS199 is the Bosch engine ECU that manages the 2.2-litre diesel and the whole exhaust aftertreatment on the latest Fiat Ducato. For Euro 6 vans built from 2024 onward there was no ready emulator for AdBlue (SCR) and DPF problems on this ECU. Hedef Emulator's unit is the first one in the world.

In practice, an AdBlue message or a DPF full warning on your Ducato no longer has to mean an expensive part swap or yet another workshop visit. One device handles both circuits, so you do not buy a separate AdBlue product and a separate DPF product.

Why does a Ducato 2.2 with the MD1CS199 throw AdBlue and DPF faults?

The MD1CS199 watches far more than combustion. AdBlue pump behaviour, tank level, dosing pressure, inlet and outlet NOx readings, SCR catalyst efficiency, DPF differential pressure and particulate data are checked against each other all the time. When one value drifts, the ECU may judge the whole system faulty.

A Ducato's working life pushes exactly that chain. Short stop-start trips stop the exhaust reaching the temperature the DPF needs to clean itself, so the filter loads up and regenerations are abandoned. In winter AdBlue crystallises and the dosing line cannot hold pressure. The inducement system then lights the lamp, cuts torque and limits speed. Replace an expensive NOx sensor and the same codes often return.

Ducato AdBlue warning, DPF full message and loss of power: what drivers actually see

One platform, many jobs, so the symptoms look different from one owner to the next:

  • Panel van delivery fleets: dozens of drops a day, short distances and idling, so DPF regenerations are interrupted again and again and power drops at the worst hour.
  • Minibuses and staff shuttles: a sudden power cut with passengers aboard is a safety matter and a timetable problem.
  • Camper conversions: an AdBlue lamp on a holiday route, possibly in another country, means hunting for help and rewriting the trip.
  • Refrigerated and cargo conversions: the extra weight works the engine harder, so AdBlue use and DPF loading climb faster.
  • Cab-chassis and pickup builds: whatever body is fitted, the same ECU applies the same warning logic.

Which sensors does the emulator simulate?

The unit produces the full set of sensor and actuator signals the MD1CS199 uses on the aftertreatment line, so the ECU never sees a missing or faulty sensor:

  • All NOx sensors: both the inlet and outlet readings
  • PM (particulate) sensors: post-filter particulate information
  • Temperature sensors: exhaust, DPF and SCR line values
  • Differential pressure sensors: pressure drop across the DPF
  • AdBlue (SCR) circuit: pump, dosing, tank level and temperature information

Is your 2024-onward Ducato compatible? Confirm the MD1CS199 first

The device is made for Euro 6, 2.2-litre diesel Fiat Ducato vehicles built in 2024 or later with the Bosch MD1CS199 ECU. Before ordering, check the following:

  • The ECU label, or the ECU information on a diagnostic tool, should read MD1CS199.
  • The vehicle should be a 2.2-litre diesel Fiat Ducato produced in 2024 or later.
  • If you are unsure, send your chassis number (VIN) and a photo of the ECU label to our WhatsApp line and we will confirm compatibility with you before you order.

An emulator wired into the vehicle harness: ordering, shipping and support

The emulator is a separate physical device that connects to the vehicle wiring harness. For detail on the connection points, installation support is on WhatsApp 24/7; send a photo or video at whatever step you get stuck.

Orders ship the same business day and shipping is free to Turkey and abroad. The device is made in Turkey, CE marked and carries a 2-year warranty.

From delivery fleet to camper: what downtime and parts really cost a Ducato owner

On a working Ducato the real cost is not only the parts invoice. Days in the workshop queue, missed deliveries and cancelled runs all count. Each time an AdBlue or DPF warning comes back, the van costs you both money and time.

For a camper owner the picture is even more fragile: a power cut on a mountain road threatens the holiday and safety at once. With the emulator in place, AdBlue top-ups, waiting for regenerations and filter or sensor replacements drop off the list, and the van simply does its job.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Fiat Ducato MD1CS199 emulator really the world's first?

Yes. An emulator that simulates the AdBlue (SCR) and DPF circuits together for the MD1CS199-equipped Ducato is Hedef Emulator's world first. No other ready-made product exists on the market for this ECU.

Is my 2024 Ducato compatible with this emulator?

The device is for Euro 6 Ducato vehicles built in 2024 or later. Even so, send your chassis number (VIN) and a photo of the ECU label on WhatsApp before ordering and we will confirm compatibility together.

How do I know my ECU is an MD1CS199?

The label on the ECU reads MD1CS199, and it also appears in the ECU identification on a diagnostic tool. If you cannot find it, send the VIN and a photo to our WhatsApp line and we will check.

My Ducato shows an AdBlue warning and loses power. Will this fix it?

The device simulates the AdBlue (SCR) circuit signals, so the AdBlue fault lamp, dosing errors and the power and speed restriction that follow them do not appear. Share the situation on WhatsApp and we will give you a straight assessment.

Does it also cover the DPF full warning and regenerations that never finish?

Yes. The device produces the DPF differential pressure, temperature and PM sensor signals. The ECU sees a normal filter, so the DPF full message and the regeneration demand do not arise.

Which sensors are simulated?

All NOx sensors (inlet and outlet), the PM (particulate) sensors, the exhaust, DPF and SCR line temperature sensors and the differential pressure sensors. The AdBlue (SCR) circuit is included too.

What are the warranty and the country of manufacture?

Products carry a 2-year warranty. The device is made in Turkey and is CE marked.

Is shipping free, and when does it go out?

Shipping is free to Turkey and abroad. Orders are shipped the same business day.

Can it be reversed later?

The emulator is a separate physical device connected to the vehicle harness, not a remap that rewrites the ECU software. You can take it out of the circuit and return the vehicle to its original configuration whenever you like; we recommend keeping the original parts.

Can I get help with installation, and what if a lamp stays on?

Installation support is available on WhatsApp 24/7; send a photo or video at the point where you get stuck. If old fault records have not been cleared with a diagnostic tool, a lamp may stay lit for a while. If the problem continues, send us the details on WhatsApp and we will find the cause together.
