SDLG Euro 5 (Weichai) NOx Sensor Emulator

SDLG wheel loaders fitted with Euro 5 Weichai diesel engines work through brutal conditions — quarry dust, high vibration, extreme temperature swings and back-to-back shifts. That operating environment accelerates wear on the SCR system's NOx sensor, which can drift out of calibration or fail outright long before other drivetrain components. When it does, the engine control unit logs persistent fault codes, throws dashboard warnings and throttles the machine into a power-restricted mode. A loader that grinds to a halt on a live construction site stalls the entire workflow and towing it to a workshop costs days of lost productivity. The SDLG Euro 5 NOx Sensor Emulator resolves the fault electronically and permanently, so the machine stays working.

How Does It Work?

The emulator plugs directly into the NOx sensor connector on the Weichai engine's SCR line — no wire cutting or soldering required. Once active, it continuously produces the upstream and downstream exhaust NOx concentration values, sensor heater status and ready-state signals the ECU expects from a serviceable sensor. The control unit registers consistent, in-range data and therefore generates no NOx-related fault codes and does not impose a power restriction.
